As a Sr. Manager, Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for managing the activities related to the performance of the end-to-end Accounts Payables process for European countries performed by Supervisors, Team Leads and Associates within their team(s). This includes but not limited to:

  • Ensuring that SLA’s and other objectives are met and leveraging reporting and metrics to monitor performance
  • Coaching of Supervisors, Team Leads and/or associates
  • Collaborating with Global / Regional Business on strategic planning, productivity optimization, business solutions and problem resolution
  • Overseeing hiring, training/development of associates
  • Identifying, implementing and working with the Quality team on process improvements
  • Headcount planning including interviewing of Team Leads and Sr Associate level positions
  • Maintaining business continuity plans and implementing if necessary
  • Monitoring of SLA’s, projects, process improvements 
  • Analyze and develop corrective action plans when objectives are not met
  • Act as the key point of escalation for issues/concerns of Operations Mgr’s and/or EMEA based Process Owners
  • Prepares and administers performance appraisals to Supervisors/Team Leads according to deadlines
  • Provide input to performance appraisals at the associate level
  • Meets with direct reports on a regular basis to discuss performance, and provide coaching and development opportunities (1:1’s)
  • Works with HR on disciplinary situations in a timely manner according to policies in place matters
  • Responsible for establishing a process improvement strategy that enhances and improves the process, and the customer/vendor experience, reduce process time (i.e. automation), etc. and adopts the use of best A/P best practices
  • Responsible for driving the execution of the above strategy within the AP team and in conjunction with all stakeholders

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • University degree in Finance/Accounting/Business related degree
  • Accounting and finance background
  • Demonstrated leadership and process expertise in Accounts Payable
  • Data analytics skills
  • 8+ years direct supervisory or managerial role overseeing operations and providing guidance, some experience leading through subordinate managers
  • 5+ years shared service center/ BPO sector experience required
  • Experience with European business practices
  • Excellent Written and spoken Еnglish
  • Attitude to work in complex, dynamic and rapid-paced environments
  • Customer minded
  • Process minded and analytical – ably to identify proper KPI’s to measure process performance
  • Strong attitude to accept responsibilities and meet commitments, taking accountability for the overall performance and actions.
  • Good Change Management attitude, pro-activity towards innovation and capability to facilitate the change across departments and Business units
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills - able to gain respect, interact and influence at all levels
  • Understand of financial concepts
  • PC literate; Advanced levels in Excel and Word, experience with data warehouse information and Access a plus; Mainframe experience, SAP is an asset
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Team player, open to learn and desired growth
