*This position is in the Irvine, California corporate headquarters and has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to three days remote per week.  

We are looking for an experienced Cloud FinOps Engineer to help optimize cost for a variety of solution implementations on our mutli-cloud environment. You focus will involve analyzing resource utilization trend information to improve efficiency and performance across deployments.

Your role:

  • Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
  • Modifying and improving existing systems.
  • Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud finops technologies and initiatives.
  • Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based finops systems.
  • Developing and maintaining cloud finops solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Interacting with clients, providing cloud finops support, and making recommendations based on client needs.

 What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science and Math or related discipline with an IT emphasis is required. A graduate degree in Technology, Business or Management is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the field of financial operations.
  • Experience utilizing Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS
  • Strong communication skills to create and share best work processes with teammates.
  • Effective project management abilities to successfully oversee an organization's information technology business initiatives.
  • 3+ years Terraform  or Automating Cloud Native Infrastructure a plus
  • 3+ years using revision control (git) and collaboration platforms (GitHub, BitBucket, AzureDevOps) a plus
  • Understanding of CI/CD deployment pipelines a plus
  • Experience with Container systems (Docker, Kubernetes) - Deploying and orchestrating containers with terraforms plus
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines end-to-end - Jenkins experience a plus
  • Linux and Windows Operating Systems experience a plus
  • Large Data Center engineer/operations experience - network, systems, or storage engineering a plus
