We are currently seeking a sales professional working within the IT (channel) marketplace to join our sales team, reporting directly to our Head of Major & Enterprise SalesYou will be responsible for client service and problem resolution, service enhancement and expansion, as well as new business growth in line with core & focus areas identified within the Comms-care & Ingram Micro services portfolio.


The ideal candidate will have a successful and relevant IT sales background, with focus on developing & growing relationships, whilst demonstrating a clear vision of how to deliver service excellence & sales growth.




Principal Accountabilities but not limited to the following;


  • Managing key client relationships to maximise opportunities for account development to drive business growth
  • The ability to pro-actively hunt for & generate new business opportunities
  • Capable of developing and maintaining new & existing business relationships with channel partners
  • The ability to accurately forecast, and showcase a pipeline of opportunity to deliver against objective
  • Collating, summarising and accurately reporting key management account information on a monthly basis
  • Achieving & exceeding monthly sales targets, using all sales tools i.e. calls, appointments, meetings, mailshots, client entertainment, account planning and development
  • Working with internal key stake holders to deliver Account Development Plans to drive year on year growth


  • A clear communicator both verbal and written
  • PC literacy (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Powerpoint etc) with fast & accurate keyboard skills
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Must have a logical thought process and a can do attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • A self-starter when developing new business
  • Logical in their approach and possess the ability to close deals
  • Successful IT sales account development background – proof of success will be required and references taken.
  • Well presented who excels in a customer facing & team environment
  • Being flexible - the role may include early starts and overnight stays for events including awards dinners and client entertainment on occasions
  • Must be driven, enthusiastic, motivated, tenacious and pro-active with a high work rate and determination to succeed
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience of working in a sales environment, supporting a fast growing organization, who can contribute additional value, with the ability to think laterally.
