Logistics & Stock Administrator

Due to continued growth, we require a Logistics & Stock Administrator, as a member of the logistics dept. The successful candidate will join our small but busy Logistics team based at our head office on the outskirts of Northwich. Comms-care is a leading channel-only provider of IT support and service solutions. We assist over 850 channel partners and support over 30,000 active service contracts.

Salary:  Up to £20,450 (dependent on experience) + Benefits

Location:  Lostock Gralam, Northwich, CW9 7UA

Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Friday   

Job summary
Candidates will preferably have a background in the Warehouse / Logistics industry and carry out Logistics related duties to ensure accurate stock control is maintained, although any experience would be well received. The role will include management of our stock holding and various administrative duties as part of the logistics function, so an understanding of the urgent nature of IT Support would be beneficial.

 Duties & essential job functions

Principal Accountabilities but not limited to the following;

  • Managing stock levels to ensure critical stock is available
  • Processing enquiry emails and telephone calls
  • Maintaining accurate stock records / stock taking
  • Generating weekly and daily reports for internal and external customers
  • Contacting employees to return failed stock
  • Assisting generally with on-going Logistics practice



  • Good IT skills with good knowledge of all Microsoft applications
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, documentation skills required as is self-awareness.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred
