Your role:

The Manager, Human Resources leads a team of HR professionals and provides vital counsel to the Operations team in Carol Stream, IL. This position will partner with Operations leadership in driving workforce strategies and programs in a dynamic and evolving environment. 

In this exiting leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring on-site human capital requirements are met including the sustainability of a reliable and competent workforce and labor crewing that delivers improvements in productivity. This role will provide guidance in areas such as employment law, talent acquisition, performance management, change management and engagement initiatives. 

What you bring to the role:

  • Support development and deployment of local strategy for programs, practices and communications contributing to an environment of high engagement levels and positive employee relations.
  • Educate the business on people trends and impact to broader strategy. Uses data and metrics to drive decisions and build recommendations.
  • Organization of performance management and compensation programs that properly address the needs of the operations environment while maintaining alignment with Ingram Micro’s overall HR.
  • Oversight of all recruiting activities, internal and external, to ensure that Ingram Micro is locally represented as a competitive employer of choice. This includes managing the relationships and setting performance expectations with temporary staffing providers.
  • Supporting training and leadership development initiatives to address the needs of the workforce.
  • Ensuring the compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.
  • Ensuring HR services, including employee benefits, payroll, and HRIS administration meet the SLA.


Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 


Experience:

  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years work experience in human resources, including two (2) years in a leadership position. Experience in a large distribution and/or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Must be flexible and able to prioritize multiple projects respecting deadlines and advancing the business priorities with effectiveness and professionalism.
  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret complex regulations and laws.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills, bi-lingual in English and Spanish and/or Hindi preferred.
  • Currently has intermediate proficiency within Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated skills in inter-personal diplomacy and problem resolution with the ability to effectively interface with both hourly and management level employees.
  • Working knowledge of office automation and technology as it pertains to the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); Workday, UKG Workforce Dimensions, Fieldglass.

The typical base pay range for this role in Carol Stream, IL, is USD $98,000 (min) - $132,300 (mid) - $166,600 (max) per year.   


The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
