What you’ll do

In your new role, you will be reporting to the Pricing Manager as an Ingram Micro Pricing Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to have real ownership and accountability of an autonomous role, to create your role footprint and have a visible impact on the business; by supporting B2B and B2C pricing and profitability analysis across the business.

As the Pricing Analyst, your role will be exciting, with the opportunity to leading and transform the pricing initiatives through analytics.  You will have the opportunity to work with alongside highly skilled and talented Strategic Business Managers and Pricing Analysts to deliver an effective Go-To-Market pricing solution. This requires you to have strong relationship management and professional presentation skills, as it regularly engages with and presents to multiple business stakeholders both locally and within the APAC region, including Senior Management.

 You will be responsible for providing relevant product information, promotion and pricing to Sales Teams. Your role will include but not limited to:

  • Leading Pricing Projects
  • Provide recommendations & analysis on short-term tactical Product & Pricing initiatives to support the immediate business needs
  • Work closely with the Product team to identify opportunities and risks associated with various mid-long-term product initiatives, and proactively develop price optimisation and/or leakage mitigation strategies
  • Manage & Analyse complex data from a variety of data-sources using different tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Product & Sales teams to understand our customer’s businesses, consumer’s needs; and use this knowledge in developing price points, pricing strategy & supporting go to market strategies.
  • Provide insight into the current market conditions and potential influences on the business, with recommendations on the go to market strategies.
  • Undertake market studies on competitive price positions and make recommendations to maximise sales and profitability potential
  • Lead the creation of dashboards to track the performance of key pricing strategies
  • Work closely with the Commercial Finance team to understand financial impacts to understand financial trends and impacts of pricing analysis on performance


What you’ll bring

To be successful you will ideally have:

  • Experience with some or all R, Python, SQL, Mathematics, Statistics etc
  • You will be a thinker who is Strategic, Intelligent and Analytical
  • Knowledge of local market needs, trends and technologies.
  • Strong communicator and able to present pricing outcomes to the business
  • First class communication – written, verbal and presenting skills
  • Confidence in both formal and informal settings with the ability to relate and present to individuals across all levels
  • A can-do attitude along with commercial acumen
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Statistics, and/or Data Science
  • A proactive and curious approach: a relationship builder who has strong influencing skills
  • Excellent Excel and data analytic skills
