Join us for our 10-week paid internship program, where motivated and talented college and university students have the opportunity to grow their skills while contributing to meaningful projects at a global organization. We’re looking for ambitious individuals eager to learn, collaborate, and drive real results.

Location:

This position is based in our Irvine, CA office. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.

Program details:

We offer internships across a variety of departments and locations throughout the U.S., giving you the chance to work at one of our dynamic offices. Our internships are hybrid, blending hands-on, in-office experience with the flexibility of remote work. Expect to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Beyond just work, our program in cludes exclusive opportunities for growth, like personalized learning & development sessions, interactive training, executive speaker events, and exciting group projects. You’ll connect with top leaders, build your professional network, and gain invaluable experience that sets you up for success in your career!

Important dates:

  • March: Applications Open (some postings may close early due to applicant volume)

  • March – April: Recruiters and hiring managers will review applications and reach out to candidates on a rolling basis. Timing of outreach for each internship position may vary, and some interviews might start sooner than others, but candidates can expect to hear by the end of April if selected for an interview.

  • May: All interviews to be completed and offers to be made

  • June 2nd – August 8th: First cohort start & end date

  • June 16th – August 22nd: Second cohort start & end date

Department summary:

This role will support the Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain department, focusing on data analysis for process and system improvements, productivity, and quality with our warehouses. We use data-driven strategies to enhance business performance and collaborate on projects that drive continuous improvement across various operations.

Your role:

  • Project Support: Collaborate closely with engineering project managers to meticulously plan timelines and coordinate a diverse array of projects within the engineering portfolio. This role encompasses tracking critical dates and milestones, ensuring every project progresses smoothly and on schedule. Additionally, provide support for the ROI deliverables associated with each project, empowering the team to achieve impactful results and insights.

  • Data Analytics: Support with comprehensive data analytics to drive impactful projects and operational initiatives that empower the Engineering group to reach its goals. From achieving significant cost savings to enhancing operational efficiency, our approach will transform raw data into actionable insights that propel the organization forward.

  • Standardization template: Collaborate with the engineering department to craft and refine comprehensive templates that will facilitate swift ROI calculations and outline operational benefits. This effort aims to deepen our understanding of the processes to be implemented, ensuring clarity and precision in every step of the deployment.

What you bring to the role:

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program.

  • Pursuing bachelors or master’s in supply chain, engineering, or related field.

  • Must have SQL, Excel, data analysis skills.

  • School, or other, projects dealing with supply chain or warehousing.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $46,000.00 - $73,600.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
