About role:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our Inside Sales team in Australia. The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in supporting Relationship Manager(s) to achieve revenue and gross margin targets while fostering strong business relationships with our strategic partners.

Responsibilities:

Key Account Management

  • Develop and nurture meaningful business relationships with customers, aligning solutions, products, programs, and services with their key objectives.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Manager(s) to review pipeline management, assess opportunities, and proactively follow up on potential sales.
  • Manage inbound enquiries from customers, assess their requests, and provide relevant solutions .
  • Maximize cross-sell and upsell opportunities with multiple customers and vendors.
  • Proactive outbound calling to accounts to share current promotions/initiatives.
  • Generate quotes, follow up on associated actions, and report calls made and deals in progress.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitive information for both Ingram Micro and vendors.
  • Ensure achievement of agreed customer KPIs and SLAs, and maintain detailed opportunity tracking reports.
  • Attend onsite and offsite events when required to strengthen relationships across the business.

Sales Support and Reporting

  • Determine special freight requirements and provide quotes for specialized solutions.
  • Project manage deliveries, requirements, and schedules, providing ETA's to all stakeholders.
  • Generate custom reports including account profiles and action plans weekly.

Essential Skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to evaluate information effectively, prioritize workload, and make logical and informed decisions
  • Willingness to adapt, learn, and grow in a competitive and changing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and adapt tone and conversation style appropriately over the phone
