This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Sr. SAP Project Manager to lead the delivery of our Global ERP solutions, to include the complete end to end S/4 Hana geographical expansion.  This position will ensure the SAP centric projects are successfully completed within the defined scope, quality, time schedule and budget. In addition, the Sr. SAP Project Manager will help with the continuous strategy for implementations, integration and migrations globally.

Your role:

  • The primary role of the Sr. SAP Project Manager is to lead, manage and execute the end to end SAP S/4 Hana strategy for implementation, integration and migration.
  • Responsible for the full life cycle of the project: initiation, resourcing, execution, monitoring, control and completion.
  • Ensure performance targets are met & aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives; and that projects adhere to best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact available to ensure that roles and responsibilities are successfully met in accordance with the project requirements/deliverables
  • Plan for resources, deliverables, schedules and communicate tasks and status updates
  • S4/Hana experience strongly preferred
  • Liaise with on-site and off-site teams, manage project issues & resolution for business users and stakeholders
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute internal and outsourced projects in adherence to Ingram Micro’s processes, procedures and controls as defined by Ingram Micro’s Project Management Methodology and compliance standards while utilizing the available tools and processes.
  • Experience deploying SAP using ASAP and Active methodology.
  • Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project's objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them through the creation of an environment that enables peak performance by team members.
  • Generate and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans and cost plans
  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders (internal and external), keeping stakeholders informed and manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
  • Proactive management of issues and risks, establishing mitigation and contingency plans
  • Define and monitor success measures and performance metrics
  • Deliver and continuously seek improvement of the project delivery capabilities and services within the Global ERP Center of Excellence
  • Deliver and support global ERP projects in a regulated environment for a diverse and distributed user base while relying on a number of Enterprise shared services
  • The primary role of the SAP Program Manager is to lead, manage and execute end to end SAP Data Migration strategy for implementation, integration and migration.
  • Responsible for the full life cycle of the project: initiation, resourcing, execution, monitoring, control and completion.
  • Ensure performance targets are met & aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives; and that projects adhere to best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact available to ensure that roles and responsibilities are successfully met in accordance with the project requirements/deliverables
  • Plan for resources, deliverables, schedules and communicate tasks and status updates
  • Responsible for all Data Migration, Master Data & SAP MDG related issues, queries and assist with scheduling Data Migration, Master Data and MDG related interviews and workshops
  • Liaise with on-site and off-site teams, manage project issues & resolution for business users and stakeholders
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science and Math or related discipline with an IT emphasis is required. 
  • 10+ years relevant IT experience as a Program Manager or related role.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Program/Project Management.
  • Experience managing 6 or more end-to-end projects in SAP ECC global migration or implementation.         
  • Experience managing off shore teams.
  • Experience integrating SAP tools- SCM, GTS,BW, credit card tools, etc, certified products vistex, high radios, and 3 party tools.
  • Experience guiding and facilitating executive level business decisions and performing business analysis.
  • Prior experience with the Agile/Scrum methodology and Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
  • Experience with project planning, forecasting, financial tracking, blueprinting, gap analysis, realization, solution deployment, and transition is required.
  • Preference for the following certifications - Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
  • This role may require frequent global travel up to 25%.
