The Director, IaaS Business Unit, US will lead a cross-functional team of sales, technical and vendor management professionals and be responsible for development and execution of Ingram Micro's IaaS go to market strategy to achieve financial goals.

Our ideal candidate for the Director, IaaS Business Unit, US role has:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales, alliances, business development or marketing with strong leadership experience
  • 5+ years of first and second level management experience driving true P&L results 
  • Exceptional skills in building and inspiring innovative and agile teams of leaders
  • 5+ years of cloud or 'X-as-a-service' experience preferred
  • Proven experience identifying, acquiring and developing dynamics talent across sales, technical and management roles. 
  • Proven experience developing and executing strategic growth business plan including securing needed investment to deliver expected business outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of IT professional and managed services
  • Understanding of channel business models including value added resellers, managed service providers, telecom, hosters, system integrators, and ISV’s
  • Extensive experience in developing customer and vendor relationships
  • Problem-solving skills, conceptual and analytical skills with a proven ability to turn findings into executable plans
  • Excellent oral, written and formal presentation skills including the ability to communicate and sell ideas
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • A BA or additional relevant experience in a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
