About the Team:
The Digital Operations team is focused on the development of the Xvantage platform and building digital solutions for Ingram Micro.
Position Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including articulating the market definition and personas, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver features with high business value.
It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure savings and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
The Product Manager is expected to:
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification*
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Be an expert with respect to the competition
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
Perform product demos
Define ROI and track results
Act as a leader within the company
Competencies:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork and team leadership skills
Demonstrated clear judgement and ability to prioritize
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years specific experience. Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems.
