This is exciting opportunity for a software engineer passionate about Linux, Python, data analysis and data-driven approach. CloudBlue Commerce is a multi-tier commerce platform that allows to launch marketplaces to partners, resellers and end customers. The platform supports N-tier reseller management and launch in multiple countries, languages and currencies. It also offers products at varied price points per region, customer, or reseller.

 As a member of CloudBlue Commerce engineering team you will build new tools, dashboards, and analytics, gain insights that empower colleagues, managers, and executives to make better decisions and deliver better work.

 The ideal candidate needs an analytical, data-driven mind and a passion to connect and make sense of interesting data from APIs. We focus heavily on the collection of metrics, optimising processes, and ways of working across CloudBlue. You need to demonstrate leadership, excellence, and consistency. You will use your passion for experimentation and analytics to build tomorrow’s tech organisation.

On the CloudBlue Commerce engineering team, you will gain experience with data extract, transformation and delivery from cloud-architecture distributed platform and satellite systems to Business Intelligence software like O365 Power BI, Eazy BI and Atlassian JIRA.

Your role:

• Connect to many data sources and provide insightful visualisations
• Provide new insights into the CloudBlue Commerce experience
• Optimise the quality and velocity of both engineering and support team
• Measuring key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Serve as customer advocate internally and influence engineering and product management team to improve customer satisfaction and retention
• Own, maintain and decrease product maintenance costs by the engineering
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems
• Represent the engineering team to support, customer representatives and project management office
• Enable new processes and improve existing workflows

What you bring to the role:

• Solid domain knowledge related to E-commerce, OSS/BSS systems
• 3-5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Analytics, Support or equivalent
• Patience and ability to listen
• Ability to communicate efficiently both with technical and business people, and both by voice and by texting
• Architect-level understanding and practical experience of telco demands
• Professional attitude to “make things happen”

• Experience working in and managing distributed teams
• Strong work experience with Atlassian family products: O365 Power BI or similar Business Intelligence systems
• Working experience with EazyBI extension for Atlassian JIRA will be a plus
• Strong work experience with Atlassian family products: JIRA / JQL, Confluence
• Experience with common scripting languages, including Shell script, Python or JavaScript
• Ability to perform queries and draw up reports including reports from external data sources like SQL, Data cubes etc.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent degree or experience.
