- Job is FT. Hourly pay (paid weekly).
- Schedule is Mon. - Fri.
- Hybrid in-office/WFH schedule. In-office hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and WFH hours are 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Ingram Micro is looking for Tech Support rock-stars who are curious, tech-savvy self-starters with a basic knowledge of networking (CCNA, Unix or Linux, and servers).

Position Summary:
- Respond to customers via phone, email and a ticketing system.
- Escalate issues to manufactures.
- Test phones, switch router against customers, configuration to ensure the configuration is correct.
- Evaluate new products and write reports on functionality.
- Assist sales with product recommendation and compatibility.
- Self and guide education on new products. Vendor certifications required.
- Provide product testing checklist for products returned.
- Ability to create and walk customer through troubleshooting steps ad-hoc.
- Authorize replacement on products.
- Log all time in ticketing system.

Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Networking. CCNA is a Plus.
- Unix/Linux OS.
- Virtualization platforms is a plus. VMware/VirtualBox.
- Wireshark.
- DHCP, TFTP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, Syslog and SIP server and understanding of how they work.

What You Bring To The Role:
- (2) year computer science college degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to resolve problems independently.
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism in taking responsibility.
- Results-oriented and willing to work on new technologies.
- Able to work independently and self-motivated.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Customer oriented and possesses a 'can-do' attitude.
