Vendor Business Manager

The Vendor Business Manager will be responsible for the overall running of their assigned vendor/s or categories by Developing strategies that will achieve revenue, profitability targets and growth

This will include:

  • Building and managing the vendor relationship/s by owning the respective P&L for their category or vendor/s
  • Ensuring costs are minimized through driving process efficiencies and profits are maximized through sustainable growth strategies.
  • Analysing data and research market reports to identify new markets or areas of growth

We are seeking a passionate energetic, highly autonomous individual who can drive change. You will require a strategic mindset and have strong communication & interpersonal skills coupled with proven success working with cross functional teams.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree desirable or equivalent work experience, marketing qualification is desirable
  • Have the ability to build credible stakeholder relationships and engagement
  • Results driven, customer focused, accurate and analytical
  • Methodical with outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Able to plan and implement marketing plans and achieve business objectives
  • Experienced in multiple market sectors, with a strong business acumen
  • Ability to thrive within an innovative, fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Product management/sales/procurement and marketing positioning experience
  • Strong Excel/MS Office skills, financial/numeric skills to work with pricing, stock/inventory management and reporting
  • Strong negotiation skills, proven sales skills and working experience in developing business plans required
  • Knowledge of technology products and distribution channels
  • Knowledge of Ingram's business practices, processes and systems is highly desirable
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand/communicate complex financial data
