You will be a motivated go-getter with a passion for technology and proven professional sales and marketing skills. You will demonstrate good personal, organisational and time management skills and an ability to plan and implement marketing plans and business strategies. You will also have superior interpersonal and communication skills that build credible internal and external working relationships. Being persuasive in both written and oral presentations is a must.

About the role:

The successful candidate will have security knowledge from the leading international brands that are available in the NZ and international markets. Minimum 2- 3 years of security channel and or end user sales experience.  As the Ingram Micro solutions team focuses more on the security category, this role is to work with Ingram Micro Account Managers to sell the security technologies we distribute and support the channel on opportunities.

Working with our high-profile vendor Fortinet, you will be providing an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality industry solutions, you will effectively manage and grow sales within New Zealand and associated opportunities nationally.

In this role you will have the opportunity to hone your selling skills, while building on existing relationships with key stakeholders, partnering with our vendors and resellers, to identify quality solutions for their end customers.

 

About You:

  • Previous experience in the IT sales and distribution industry is preferable.
  • Proactive, Process driven and progressive learner are the key P’s of the role.
  • An excellent ability to build and develop key relationships at all levels.
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and drive the sales process autonomously.
  • A collaborative team player who is customer-focused.
