Position Summary:

The Administrator II. Project Management Information Systems performs administrative  and/or technical assignments in support of the PMIS department and is an established and productive individual contributor who  works under moderate supervision. Problems faced are typically routine, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Makes minor adjustments to working methods. Communicates information that requires explanation or interpretation.  Still gaining or have attained full proficiency in their specific area of discipline. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

 

Essential responsibilities of the role include: 

 

  • Develop dashboards, lists, and other objects to support departmental Project and Portfolio Management activities
  • Set-up of new approaches to tracking project milestones, issues, risks, and status reporting using Microsoft 360 tools to increase efficiency / decrease time burden, and avoid redundant work


What you bring to the role:

 

  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in project management and/or Microsoft collaboration tools
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and other Microsoft 360 collaboration tools
  • Preferred: Experience using Microsoft Project
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, 2 year degree preferred. 3 years of general experience or 2 years functional experience. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
