Reporting to the General Manager, we are currently looking for a Business Manager to join our team. The core responsibility of this role will see the successful candidate effectively managing the Australian relationship between Ingram Micro and HP Enterprise.

Through effectively managing this relationship with the vendor, the Business Manager will ensure that Gross Margin and revenue numbers are met along with ensuring all reporting and management is maintained.

You will set strategic direction and be responsible in leading the various HPE architecture businesses to attain company growth objectives, whilst working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that revenue, profitability, and inventory metrics are achieved.

You will be:

  • Leading and developing a talented team
  • Creating, developing quarterly marketing plans
  • Working closely with the Ingram Micro and HPE sales team to ensure maximum mind share is achieved
  • Working with Product Managers and support associates to ensure continued success of the portfolio
  • Growing and maintaining key customer relationships at executive level
  • Driving cadence which includes operational, marketing and sales planning and results
  • Providing relevant training for assigned technologies
  • Inventory management of aligned Products
  • Provide detailed pipeline and forecasting reports.
  • Creating, nurturing, and developing strategic relationships with both customers and vendors.
  • Developing strategic programs to drive partner and product segments through the channel

 

You will bring:

  • A strong background in Product/Business/Category Management within IT Networking space.  Experience with product management highly desirable
  • Proven track record in leading teams
  • Excellent relationship management skills, both internally and externally
  • Previous experience in developing business/marketing plans and an ability to present the plans to both internal and external customers
  • Experience with vendor recruitment/RFI development is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills
