Business Development Executive, Cisco (1 Year Contract)

  • Product of Cisco Network and Security solutions
  • Key priority / focus will be to drive adoption and demands for Cisco security solution. (Note that priorities can be adjusted per strategies and programs Ingram Micro agreed with Cisco)
    • Drive recruitment and enablement of resellers on Cisco Secure Remote Worker and Secure Access Service Edge GTM strategy
    • Organize and conduct enablement and technical webinars to resellers and / or end customers
    • Collaborate to create and drive demo, POC and demand generation through Ingram Micro Technology Experience Center
    • Organize and conduct enablement and training to Ingram Micro associates across APAC
  • Conceptualizing of marketing programs, developing of channel and end-customer demand generation
  • Work with Ingram Micro Core Cisco Category Manager and Cybersecurity Category Manager on Cisco strategies and GTM plan
  • Engage with Ingram Micro country leaders and Cisco team to drive the agreed net new incremental revenue (namely Cisco Secure Access Service Edge and Secure Remote Worker)
  • Measure and review the growth with in-country leaders and category managers, and drive remediation plan (where required)
  • Engagement and cultivation of strong rapport with partners and vendors
  • Liaise and work with Ingram Micro country Cisco team to
    • Drive partner onboarding and enablement
    • Execute / deliver agreed number of Cisco solution demo / POC to Ingram Micro resellers and end customers within an agreed period
    • Support execution of sales program and demand generation campaigns
  • To present and articulate with confidence to resellers and end customers on the Cisco solutions and Ingram Micro offerings
  • Gathering of market intelligence on new products, industry trends, competitive development, and constant evaluation of potential new product lines
  • Channel development and training
  • Will be expected to learn and understand non-Cisco offerings / solutions, and able to present and articulate a bundled integrated vendors GTM plan
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Services team to create and drive Cisco solutions to the resellers and / or end customers
  • Support and / participate in regular Cisco Business Reviews


  • Diploma/Degree in Business / Marketing / IT or an equivalent discipline
  • Sound knowledge / passion in IT industry / products / solutions preferred
  • Good foundation knowledge of Cisco Network / Firewall and Security products and solutions
  • Knowledge and / or experience with the underlying cybersecurity domains will be preferred
