*This position is in the Irvine, California corporate headquarters and has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to two days remote per week.  

Exciting compensation opportunity in a global company for the right person to join a high performing team to address compensation challenges.  You will utilize ingenuity and creativity to partner with management to develop compensation programs and consult with management and HR partners to champion and drive competitive pay practices and programs that support business initiatives.  The Global Compensation Consultant will be part of a dynamic Compensation Center of Excellence. Your role:

  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of all components of pay (base, incentive/bonus or commission, LTI, etc.) programs in the US and internationally for executive and non-executive populations. 
  • Evaluates roles, compensation packages and other total rewards programs, keeps abreast of legislation, trends, advances and/or new technology and makes recommendations for changes and improvements.
  • Provides compensation advice and insight to Human Resources Business Partners, providing them current and accurate information to communicate to employees and managers.
  • Participates in compensation surveys and ensures competitive pay practices are maintained.
  • Provides project and process leadership to compensation team members.   
  • Subject matter expert on complex technical and business matters.
  • Champion and drive to completion significant compensation projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience and exposure to the field of compensation. 
  • International experience in compensation at a global company is required. 
  • CCP and GRP desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to develop complex compensation analysis required.
  • Extensive working and practical knowledge of a wide variety of compensation techniques, theory, and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Workday experience desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Ability to work effectively and in diverse work groups with all levels of management.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $89,100 - $120,300 - $151,500 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
