The ideal candidate has current, relevant experience leading technical associates that play an instrumental role in uncovering client business needs, design solutions and communicate how the designed solution addresses client needs. Additionally, this candidate will advise partners on practice capabilities to provide competitive advantage in key solution/practice/competency areas.  Lastly, an ideal candidate will enable partners to execute on their go to market strategy leveraging key technical and services capabilities/competencies resulting in accelerated growth.


• Responsible for defining, and implementing the application of technical value proposition elements of partner practice development and influencing the partner to take advantage of our technical value proposition; spanning certifications, competencies, solutions, programs and services capabilities.
• Responsible for define and implement Ingram Micro certification and competencies strategy with key strategic vendors (I.e. Microsoft and AWS)
• Responsible to define and implement partner recommendation framework for certifications and competencies as part of the partner practice development process
• Responsible for designing and implementing the technical sales process leveraging our certifications and competencies toward accelerating solutions and services growth by
• Proactively identify sales opportunities and close sales by leveraging our technical associates and our technical value proposition
• Lead the coordination and collaborate with sales resources, ensure we are providing maximum value to our respective partners
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in high growth, market relevant solution and services areas
• Build and maintain key relationships internally and externally
• Travel up to 50% (which may include international travel)

What you bring to the role: 

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years previous experience in IaaS and Channel Sales.
• Ability to dig deeper into an organization and take advantage of technical relationships. 
• Ability to develop deep technical and product knowledge including certifications and competencies.
• Ability to expand that technical knowledge to become a subject matter expert in strategic emerging technical and services areas.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and individuals to achieve success in a team environment
• Innovative thinker who remains flexible and maintains the ability to manage change among varied resources
• Commitment to ethical, accountable, and transparent leadership
• Highly developed presentation, facilitation, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Politically savvy collaborator and consensus builder with a track record of bringing people together around a common cause
• Demonstrated experience as a leader with the ability to attract, recruit, and develop talent
• Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership
