What will you do?

As a Pre Sales Specialist Dell, you will join our dedicated Dell team. The enthusiastic and dynamic team of eight that you will be joining operates in close collaboration with other departments within Ingram Micro (such as Purchasing and Marketing). The team is commercially driven and collaborative, setting team targets and always helping each other out to reach them. You will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager Dell, Nadjet Bensafia. 

Dell is one of the biggest vendors of Ingram Micro. In this role you are Dell’s daily support and thrive to find solutions towards your portfolio of reseller clients. As a Pre sales Specialist you should have a clear understanding of the products and the ability to demonstrate how they work. Your responsibilities will include establishing the adequate quotes, recommending, and demonstrating the chosen products. To be a successful technical sales representative, you should be able to develop an excellent relationship with your existing customers and hunt new customers. A top-notch technical sales representative should be knowledgeable about competing products and should have the ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients.

 

What are your functions and responsibilities?

  • Responsible for achieving the sales and margin targets.
  • Providing technical sales support on all Dell products and solutions.
  • Carrying out the proposition of Dell, think strategically about our competitive ability and collaborate to the plan to grow the business in Belgium.
  • Developing the business of our reselling partners by offering the right services and solutions.
  • Taking initiative in the further development of knowledge and abilities, necessary to optimally develop your portfolio.
  • Participating in training courses and commercial events to obtain the necessary vendor certificates.
  • Working closely with the sales team, account managers and the business development managers.
  • Giving follow up on daily questions from the vendor, resellers and the sales team.

 

What do you bring to the role?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Technical knowledge about Dell’s or other similar vendors’ products is required.
  • A commercial attitude with a result-oriented focus.
  • Very strong communication skills: written and verbal in English, Dutch and French.
  • Application of a “Can Do Attitude” and ability to be a self-starter.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
