Your Role:

The International Tax Manager will be part of a dynamic in-house tax department with both US and non-US based tax personnel.  The primary focus of the International Tax Manager will be on International tax compliance; however, the position will also support International tax planning and participate in tax audit support. This role will will have great cross-functional opportunities to partner with teams that span various business lines and entities to gain a deep understanding of Ingram’s overall business landscape. 

The role will report to the Director of Tax Operations. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review US International tax return filings including but not limited to Form 5471s and 8858s
  • Assist in preparation of Form 1118 Foreign tax credit utilization calculations and ancillary US International tax calculations such as Form 8990 (163(j)), Form 8991 (BEAT), Form 8992 (GILTI), Form 8993 (FDII) and Form 8975 (Country-by-Country Reporting)
  • Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations in collaboration with our internal tax team and external tax advisors
  • Support international tax planning projects 
  • Assist with transfer pricing as needed
  • Take part in Internal Revenue Service examinations including drafting correspondences and meeting with examiners, as needed
  • Effectively liaison with other functional areas of the tax department and other departments within Ingram Micro including but not limited to accounting, treasury, legal, and distribution operations team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax (plus Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting preferred but not required).
  • Minimum 6 plus years tax experience including a minimum of 3 years international tax experience (either in public accounting or corporate taxation).
