INGRAM MICRO’S GLOBAL BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (GBI) ORG
Ingram Micro's GBI organization is a profit generating strategic service that provides IT channel stakeholders with the insights and industry intelligence to generate more business, expand reach, and achieve pinpoint accuracy in their sales and marketing efforts. Through the GBI org, the analytics team develops high margin science offerings for Ingram’s Global Partners and internal Business Units including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
Featuring one of the largest transactional, product, and inventory databases in the IT Distribution Channel, the analytics team offers Ingram’s global Vendor and Solution providers, Reseller Partners, and internal stakeholders customizable programs, services, and insights: including lead analytics, forecasts and growth targets, recommendation engines, propensity models, strategic analytic consulting, industry performance and insights, customer health analysis, product lifecycle analysis, as well as supply chain optimization, logistics and operations analytics.
THE POSITION
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Visualization and Product Development expert. With several indirect reports, the associate will drive the design and development of BI dashboards, visualizations, products, and offerings: building solutions that are global in nature, fully integrated, and scalable.
The position will possess complete development life cycle (SDLC) experience from business requirements definition, design, build, test, train, and deployment to end user support; with deliverables fueling multi-billion dollar global initiatives across operations, inventory management, sales, marketing, finance, and other functional areas. Collaboration is key. The team will work across all functional areas and geographies (AMER, EMEA, APAC) building and supporting hundreds of production level dashboards (local, country, regional, global in scope).
You will have access to large granular data sets, visualization experts, analysts, global PhD/MA level Data Science team, product developers, UX/UI design experts, and senior executives driving the business of one the world’s largest B2B distributors of IT equipment and services.
