Position Summary:
Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers; informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices; creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. This discipline is intended to accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job disciplines within the job family; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined discipline within the job family.

The Solution Development Executive supports Business Development efforts, by identifying and structuring finance solutions, obtaining required underwriting information, , executing finance agreements, and working with inside sales, legal, and underwriting teams.
Solution Development Executives will perform the role of finance subject matter experts alongside Business Development in reseller partner and end user meetings, using their years of IT finance experience to quickly garner the necessary information to structure programs and develop innovative solutions customized to help partners win.
Solution Development Executive activities involve contract administration, syndication preparation and packaging, financial service quoting and quote preparation, contract development, and playing a key role in the continuous development, implementation, operation, and sales management of our global financial product and service offerings.
The Solution Development Executive manages operations necessary to close opportunities including credit qualification, establishing all required internal approvals, identification of necessary required resources, oversight of business development proposed solutions, facilitating required documentation necessary to close and book opportunities, and ongoing portfolio management.
A professional at this position level within Ingram Micro has the following responsibilities:
- Works with the Ingram Micro teams to ensure proper internal deal compliance.
- Participates in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for their target market.
- Interacts with senior management levels at resellers, reseller customer, syndication partners and/or within Ingram Micro, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters of pricing, structing, and contractual requirements.
- Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Job Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in finance and/or accounting preferred
