Position Summary:
Ingram Micro's Emerging Business Group (EBG) provides new, innovative, and complementary technologies to our partners. The EBG team focuses on identifying and nurturing emerging vendors to help them engage with partners and expand their market reach. This group is crucial for Ingram Micro as it allows us to stay ahead of the curve and offer our partners access to the latest and most promising technologies.
The Sr. Platform Specialist be a vital resource in the Emerging Business Group that will use data and insights to maximize platform usage and identify additional business opportunities for new & emerging vendors. They may also handle unique or complex transactions outside of the platform, as needed. This role is a team contributor responsible for transactions and/or updating, correcting, or altering data as required. You will review and verify the accuracy of data, respond to customer/partner requests or opportunities and take action accordingly, while supporting platform adoption on Xvantage.
This role ensures accuracy in our platform data to maximize the features and benefits of data insights & analytics. It addresses platform inquiries with speed and accuracy and perform to required service level agreements (SLAs). You will perform transactional functions to support business and associate team members’ requests. Understands Ingram Micro's processes and solutions. Effectively resolve issues with accuracy, tact and speed.
What you bring to the role:
Two year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum five years’ functional experience
Skill at maintaining data integrity
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience managing order entry processes for software vendors
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and Outlook
Ability to identify improvement opportunities and optimize business processes
Prove experience with identifying opportunities to increase usage of Xvantage platform
Skill at Identifying selling opportunities around additional products, services, and other offerings (portfolio sales)
Experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders to convert opportunities to outcomes
Knowledge of how to generate data quality reports and metrics to provide insights
General support for the team
Incumbents independently perform a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Often acts as a facilitator and team leader.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $45,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
