Solutions Development Specialist - Acronis

Ingram Micro Cloud UK has a vacancy for a Solutions Development Specialist aligned to one of our strategic Cyber vendors – Acronis.

 

The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert on all things Acronis (product portfolio, processes, sales training, partner enablement, etc.) and will have a significant impact on the business performance by driving the execution of the sales strategy agreed between the vendor and Ingram Micro Cloud Cyber.

 

This role will be based at our Ingram Micro headquarters in Milton Keynes, you will be encouraged and required to travel occasionally to attend partner meetings, off-site events or vendor meetings/conferences.


You Will:

 

  • Be responsible for supporting and growing the existing business as well as proactively engaging with defined target partners to bring new business opportunities.
  • Lead regular business reviews with partners and offer a strategic and analytical perspective on the partnership, identifying areas of improvement and growth.
  • Ensure smooth execution and alignment of objectives, you will work closely with the vendor daily to understand their priorities and keep up to date with the latest developments.
  • You will support the owner of the vendor pipeline and sales forecast for your product set and will work closely with the SaaS Business Manager to action certain aspects of the GTM plan.
  • Act as the go-to person for internal and external sales teams to support with training and partner enablement.
  • Engage with the order processing teams around any Acronis-related queries.  

 

 

You will have the below skills and experience:

  • Strong Business development & Account Management experience within a relevant technology field
  • Knowledge and a passion for technology products and services is essential
  • Ability to maintain and manage a pipeline of deals and opportunities
  • Experience of working within a fast paced environment whilst using initiatives and ideas to contribute to the growth of the cloud business unit.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences and drive mindshare of Ingram’s goals and objectives
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in structured, methodical way.
  • Extensive IT Industry experience with a strong network working within the IT Channel
  • Flexible, able to respond to customer and vendor needs at short notice 
  • Works with integrity, passion & driven
  • Ability to negotiate favourable terms
  • Ability to professionally conduct meetings and discussions
