We are on a path to transform Ingram Micro into a global Digital Platform Business.  Our strategy is focused on three main users (Customer, Associate, Vendor) of our Xvantage™ Digital Platform.

This is a unique long term global investment for Ingram Micro. The scope of Business Transformation is broad, cross functional and throughout all levels of the organization. It requires defining priority opportunities with high level of organizational impact within manageable levels of investments that generate an optimal return.

To support the transformation and ongoing optimization in EMEA, Ingram Micro is creating a Digital Operations organization at regional level. This organization will support country transformations in 30 countries. The organization will support onboarding, go live and further commercialization of the platform with a focus on business, working side by side with support on the more technical side delivered by the Business Transformation Office and IT.  

Position:

The Associate Platform Manager - EMEA will be a key role within in the Digital Operations EMEA team. The role will take the lead to maximize adoption, utilization, and monetization of the Xvantage for Associate platform by driving expansion of all its dimensions: geographic coverage, associate onboarding, business functions coverage, functionality development and the roll out of best practices and programs specific to the platform in EMEA.

This leader will have a focus on business readiness and commercial outcome, engaging with local business leads, technical focused colleagues that work on the platform implementation and improvements. This leader prepares the business of the 30 countries in the EMEA for the associate platform onboarding, supports during the go-live and ramp up phase. Several so-called “Engines” will be assigned to the role. An “Engine” is a global managed set of automations and integrations to deliver a main business function.

Once the platform is live, the Associate Platform Manager - EMEA will remain in close contact with major stakeholders at global and local level. The role will head up the Associate Platform EMEA community and owns the EMEA level business plan as it relates to the Xvantage for Associates and assigned Engines. At an ongoing basis, this leader will proactively drive and own an EMEA wide aligned plan to grow monetization. The role reports into the Digital Operations Director EMEA.

Profile:

The Associate Platform Manager - EMEA enjoys being a central point in the organization, bridging global, regional, local and business to technology. The person builds strong networks and relationships with stakeholders in Ingram Micro and in associate and all the different business functions they represent. We look for an experienced change agent who can distill and align business needs and transform those into cross-functional programs to deliver best-in-class experience for our associates and translates this into a monetary impact.

The candidate will exhibit demonstratable experience and skill in managing programs and projects, by providing clarity on overall direction, while managing progress to identified milestones, organization and results required in a consistent fashion.  The nature of the role will require both project management and business development orientation.

 

 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Drive country business onboarding Xvantage for Associate platform (30 countries until end 2024 in EMEA).
  • Is the single point of contact for several Engines in EMEA on the business side.
  • Build & Host Digital Operations Associate Community EMEA.
  • Builds strong partnerships with local Associate Platform owners, Business Transformation Office, IT, Global platform leads, Engine leads and key opinion leaders out of our EMEA associate base.
  • Drive direct prioritization of outbound engagement with our Sales teams within Ingram Micro in region, to manage strategic and functional awareness of Xvantage for Associates and Associate related Engine features and functions. Additionally, manage ongoing constant feedback loop of inbound VOC on suggestions / enhancements / sentiment / utilization.
  • Owns and drives the EMEA level plan to expand adoption, utilization and monetization across all dimensions including geographic coverage, associate onboarding, business functions coverage, functionality development and the roll out of best practices specific to the platform and assigned engines in EMEA.
  • Owns business planning and results monitoring of financial results, underpinned by EMEA level plan (previous point).
  • Be a key contributor to develop the vision of Associate Experience – one which is based on critical needs from our Associates and our EMEA aggregate of local business needs.
  • Consolidate local requests on enhancements/improvements of Engines & Platform and prioritize development with Global.
  • Owns Business Requirement Specification development for EMEA prioritized business requirements related to the Associate platform and assigned engines.
  • Working along with associated Business Transformation leads to synchronize overall project plan and approach,

milestone management, and key contributor coordination with local business.

Job Requirement:

  • + 5 years’ experience in Technology Distribution management
  • Change agent attitude required, needs to have a dissatisfaction with the status quo.
  • Experience in project and or program management is a requirement
  • Ability to driving performance by data, reporting and KPIs.
  • Vendor or Customer facing experience or experience in Webshop management preferred.
  • Ability to take on a consultant role, to present, influence, mediate and lead a very large community of senior position co-workers.
  • Experience in business plan development preferred.
  • Regional experience preferred, not required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
