Position summary:

The ideal digital content strategist has broad knowledge and expertise to build the customer journey across marketing, e-commerce and virtual event mobile and desktop platforms. You will scope and plan content by recommending content types, messaging and resources needed to support the project objective and budget.

What you will do:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and communication of content and digital strategy, KPIs and goals
  • Plan and manage a wide range of digital content from SEO-optimized websites, email and marketing automation to paid and organic social media, blogs, videos, infographics and more—while always keeping the customer journey top of mind
  • Clearly communicate strategy to account management and creative teams, and oversee content management
  • Develop phased-approach content outlines to meet aggressive timelines, provide quick wins and enable data-driven strategy refinement
  • Evaluate results and recommend new and incremental opportunities at the project and agency level
  • Influence others and oversee alignment of strategy, best practices and processes
  • Educate teams companywide on the full agency offering

What you bring to the role:

  • Specialist in content and digital strategy
  • Knowledge of best practices for content and digital marketing
  • A clear understanding of the B2B content journey
  • Experience planning digital marketing campaigns on multiple channels, such as email (Eloqua), Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter
  • General IT channel and/or tech market knowledge
  • Ability to make a significant contribution to processes and systems
  • CMS experience
  • Four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field)
  • Minimum 5 years functional experience, including a minimum of 3 years position-specific experience
