What you’ll do

As the Solutions Architect – Commvault, you will be responsible for providing technical presales support and guidance to resellers and partners and assist partners to successfully position and expand their footprint within the end user customer base.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishes and maintains lines of communication with design engineering on issues such as considerations for product reliability.
  • Works with marketing and product managers to define new products and may provide insight from the field back to these groups.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you bring to the role:

  • Will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity.
  • Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years specific experience.
  • Have a strong technical knowledge of hyper converged, hybrid multi-cloud and data management solutions.
  • Have a strong technical knowledge Commvault
  • Someone who can drive Ingram Micro’s value proposition and further cement our position of Market Leaders within the data-centre space.

To be successful you will ideally have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in pre sales support, design and configuration of software, server, storage and security platforms including middleware
  • Strong knowledge of server, storage, networking and security market trends. Knowledge of hyper converged infrastructure, hybrid multi cloud migrations, deployment and management highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of local market
  • Sales and qualification capability
  • Strong Business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great presentation skills, written and verbal
