Position Summary: Responsible for the set-up, calibration, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies or electromechanical products. Works from engineering specifications, blueprints, drawings/diagrams and verbal or written instructions. Utilizes various test equipment. Collects and summarizes test results. What you bring to the role: Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior experience. Work is routine or follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are routine with clearly defined solutions. Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation. Possesses moderate understanding of general aspects of job. Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Works under close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. High School Diploma or equivalent. 0-1 year general experience. 1 year functional experience strongly desired. We have shifts upwards of 40 hours per week – Fast paced & highly dynamic work environment – Safe environment (record breaking 288 days of no lost-time accident).

The shifts we have available are:

  • Day Shift - Full-Time ($17.50/hour):
    • Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM 
    • 40 hours a week
    • In-house training for order-selector/forklift operation ($20/hour after probation)

Essential Functions:

  • Participating in the testing of various consumer electronic such as computers, laptops, cellular phones, digital cameras, TV, and more
  • Data wiping, Testing and cleaning will be completed on various consumer electronics
  • Re-boxing consumer electronics
  • Verifying work orders and confirming correct product and quantities
  • Ensuring specified processes, standards, documented procedures and reporting methods for each customer are always followed
  • Using electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into inventory system
  • Testing and Auditing the inventory/product received from clients
  • Loading and unloading trucks prior to and at the completion of a given project
  • Operating a pallet jack including building and maneuvering equipment on pallets
  • Maintaining the physical security protocols in place and ensuring others follow protocols
  • Maintaining the operating condition of all warehouse tools and machinery used to execute primary functions.
  • Assisting the activities of the warehouse associates to ensure a positive and efficient work experience.

Education, Experience, and other Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a technical or computer related discipline in configuration/Imaging preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience with handling consumer electronics or computers
  • Stock/order picker experience is an asset
  • Able to lift and move products weighing up to fifty (50) pounds on a regular and consistent basis
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
