About the Role:

IBM and Red Hat are key Vendors within our Advanced Solutions Group portfolio.  This role has been identified as essential to the effective management of our Annuities business across both vendors and the Reseller community.  In addition to managing the Annuity Pipelines the successful candidate will also provide key ‘quote’ and ‘Special Bid’ support to our BDM team.

About You:

We are currently looking to appoint a highly motivated Business Development Manager who will be committed to driving the value proposition of our business and our vendor, IBM Power & Storage. As Ingram’s Internal BDM for IBM & Red Hat Annuities, your attention to detail, passion for engagement and commitment to partner support and enablement will set you apart.  Your key focus will be to handle the ongoing management of the Annuities pipelines for each vendor ensuring; quotes are both timely and accurate, your forecast is submitted weekly to Business Manager and Vendors, monthly Annuities reports are provided to Resellers, whilst preparing business development initiatives, and on occasion supporting our BDM’s with their account engagements.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to;
  • Responsible for overall management of the Annuities Pipelines.
  • Achieving revenue & margin targets each month whilst developing solid business relationships with Ingram’s business partners.
  • Responsible for Annuities Quote Management to ensure pricing matches entitlements and requested discounts.
  • Providing weekly forecast reports and attending pipeline review meetings with Vendors.
  • End-to-end (i.e. quote to order) Annuities Process Management to ensure orders are placed accurately in SAP and all contract details are loaded into annuities engine for future tracking of contracts.
  • Ensure all details for Quotes, Contracts and Orders are uploaded with 100% accuracy and perform checks to ensure mistakes are eliminated.
Effectively communicate the benefits of ‘renewing on-time’ and available annuity offerings to resellers, thus enabling them to offer best solutions to their clients and leverage all promotions out in the marketplace. 

To be successful within this role you will have;
  • Understanding of Annuities process and Pipeline Management
  • Sales experience within the IT industry and/or Reseller channel landscape
  • Strong communication skills and organisational capability
  • The drive and passion to assist Vendors and Partners to achieve their goals
  • A strong understanding of Excel, with an eye for detail and confidence in producing weekly reporting, forecasting and data analysis
  • Great relationship building skills and ability to help execute business goals

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to help drive Ingram Micro’s value proposition and further cement our position of market leadership. You will be working side by side with leading vendors along with a team of industry professionals. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience within the IT sector however this is not essential as training will be provided.
