Position Summary 

The Junior Marketing Technologist is a member of the Marketing Technologists team, who understands applications/software development and helps build solutions that help deliver our marketing efforts with quality and/or reduced time. This may include but not limited to bridging different platforms that the Business Intelligence team utilizes using readily available/custom build connectors, ensuring a seamless flow of data between multiple systems where required to support automation, driving revenue, generating a positive ROI and maximizing customer engagement. 

With training on Marketing Automation and a good understanding of technology landscape, the Junior Marketing Technologist will play a crucial role in developing and leveraging our technology investment. The Junior Marketing Technologist is an innovative problem solver with excellent communication skills and an attention for detail, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Internally, the Junior Marketing Technologist will work collaboratively with other BI teams to deliver maximum program success. The role is primarily focused on understanding the project management software (customizing JIRA/Confluence), process improvement and optimization, support and guidance to develop personalized, customer centric experience to our customers. 

Skills required for success in this position include strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal stakeholders and client organizations. Good understanding of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery (optional). Prioritization of tasks and time wisely, making trade-off decisions to drive most efficient use of time and resources. Proficiency MS Excel spreadsheet, data management and reporting skills. The ability to multitask, be organized and detail-oriented, and thrive under pressure. A willingness to work flexibly with an ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment. 

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results 

  • Solutions development and documentation – primarily on JIRA/Confluence. 
  • Teaming up with Marketing Technologists, gathering requirements, customizing them and rollout of solutions 
  • Interface with end users to understand features/requirements and work collaboratively on issues and requests 
  • Support the implementation and development of processes to ensure the collaboration of the internal and external teams involved in Global BI team. 
  • Design, improve, document, and deliver software solutions alongside with other Marketing Technologists. 
  • Perform unit testing for all solutions built by oneself. 
  • Be ready to present, market and give demo of your solutions to the stakeholders/management. 
  • Keep a track of and provide periodic, proactive updates on the progress of all projects and deliverables. 
  • Update the stakeholders of any developments/challenges in the projects. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in corporate learning.
