Logistics Coordinator - 12 month Fixed term contract

Due to continued growth we require a Logistics Coordinator / Warehouse Operative as a member of the Logistics dept. The successful candidate will join our small but busy Logistics team based at our head office on the outskirts of Northwich. Comms-care is a leading channel-only provider of IT support and service solutions. We assist over 850 channel partners and support over 30,000 active service contracts.

Salary:  £20,490 (dependent on experience) + Benefits

Location:  Lostock Gralam, Northwich, CW9 7UA

Hours: 08:00 – 16:00   

Job summary
Candidates will preferably have a background in the Warehouse / Logistics industry and carry out all Logistics related duties to ensure accurate stock control is maintained although any experience would be well received. The role will include management of outward bound deliveries and escalation with our courier as part of the Logistics function so an understanding of the urgent nature of IT Support would be beneficial.

 Duties & essential job functions

Principal Accountabilities but not limited to the following;

  • Processing of inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Processing enquiry emails and telephone calls
  • Maintaining accurate stock records / stock taking
  • Generating weekly reports for management
  • Management of any third parties/ vendors which may be used as resolve groups
  • Booking collection consignments from customer sites
  • General admin for the logistics department including filing of delivery notes and engineer return forms
  • Assisting generally with on-going Logistics practice



  • Good IT skills with good knowledge of all Microsoft applications
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, documentation skills required as is self-awareness.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred
