Location: This role is located at our 400,000 sq ft logistics facility in Fort Worth, TX (located 5 minutes from DFW airport). 

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations (In California)

Travel: Availability to travel 15- 30%


Your role:

 

  • Full P&L responsibility for Ingram Micro’s distribution operations in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX 
  • Lead and optimize B2B and D2C fulfillment out of our current facility while guiding the launch of greenfield domestic fulfillment facilities supporting 1B$ in sales, implementing automation, driving high ROI capital projects, while scaling our omni channel operations.
  • Provide inspired leadership and professional management to the organization thereby creating a culture that “thinks and wins” as a team and works together for shared success. She/he will attract, develop, and retain top talent in the industry.
  • Drive operational improvement by implementing appropriate and effective operating practices across the operation.
  • Partner with Vendor Management and Demand Planning groups to drive working capital optimization and inventory productivity metrics.
  • Work seamlessly and effectively across a highly matrixed organization.
  • Take out cost while simultaneously improving and/or enhancing service to the customer and maximizing profit for the business.
  • Serve as a practical thought leader who can maintain and build upon broad leadership knowledge and capabilities in all distribution areas.
  • Leads the efforts of Continuous Improvement, Lean Methodologies, 5S, and Quality
  • Partners with Global Engineering, Quality and EH&S to meet and exceed the objectives in each of these areas
  • Creates a culture that reflects Ingram Micro’s values

 

To be successful you'll need to be adept at building team and culture, driven to achieve aggressive goals, and able to balance big picture strategy and planning with a detailed understanding of systems and processes.

You'll participate in creating long-term capital investment and network strategy plans; understand and improve everything (team, culture, systems, process) within the four walls of the fulfillment center; and build and lead a team of hundreds to beat safety, productivity, and accuracy goals.

 

Reporting relationships will encompass headcount management of between 250 and 500 people.
