The Professional Services Engineer is responsible to ensure deploy and support services for Dell Technologies platforms which are expertly designed, managed and optimized to support the entire infrastructure life cycle.

In this role, the Infrastructure Engineer works collaboratively with other architects, infrastructure engineers, applications teams and Technology Architecture & Business Development.

Job description:

• Conduct installation of Dell/EMC technical solutions (storages, servers, SAN infrastructure, backup appliances)
• Conduct installation and support of Dell/EMC technical solutions (storages, servers, SAN infrastructure, backup appliances)
• Understanding of Operational challenges and dependencies as they relate to infrastructure decisions.
• Perform troubleshooting, system upgrades and deployments
• Assist with high visibility customer escalations requiring moderate technical analysis
• Obtaining Dell/EMC certification through various technical courses
• Collaborate with partners in establishing and building positive customer relationships

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of storage technologies – or willing to learn fast
• Technical University Background or relevant experience as a Data Center engineer is an advantage
• Ability to communicate and effectively within business environment
• Sensitivity to Security best practices as related to infrastructure and application architectures
• Experience working with Dell/EMC product portfolio is an advantage
• Experience with Enterprise applications and services would be a plus
• High level communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent knowledge of English language
• Good understanding of operating systems (Dell/EMC, Linux, Windows)
• Basic understanding of Networking infrastructure components including Core and Edge switches, Trunking, VLANs etc.
