We are on a path to transform Ingram Micro into a global Digital Platform Business. Our strategy is focused on three main users (Customer, Associate, Vendor) of our Xvantage™ Digital Platform. This is a unique long term global investment for Ingram Micro. The scope of Business Transformation is broad, cross functional and throughout all levels of the organization.
To support the transformation and ongoing optimization in LATAM, Ingram Micro is creating a Digital Operations organization at regional level. This organization will support country transformations in 30 countries and also it will support onboarding, go live and further commercialization of the platform with a focus on business, working side by side with support on the more technical side delivered by the Business Transformation Office and IT.
About the position
The Central Operations Support LATAM will be a key role within in the Business Transformation Office (BTO) LATAM team. The role will be responsible in the design, development and execution of migration to the LATAM Xvantage Engines roadmap, working with countries to define baseline “as-is”, including both upstream and downstream interactions of applications and business models. Within their role they will drive the coordination, prioritization of key business requirements, Vendor Business Rules, in coordination with Regional & Global DTO to ensure critical parameters are met within product design. In addition, they will define a consolidated prioritization model and readiness data matrix, aligning with XVantage.
The Central Operations Support LATAM will establish the appropriate Governance & Candance, through a network SME’s in the region, to ensure timely communications, requirements and critical path items are actioned and executed accordingly, such as data extraction, business rules documentation & enablement, engine operation process execution, etc.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Design, Develop & Execute Critical enablement plan in alignment with the “Digital Engines”
- Is the single point of contact in LATAM for business stakeholders
- Build & Host Community
- Builds strong partnerships with local Owners & Project & Change Managers, Business Transformation Office, Regional & Global DTO
- Drive prioritization of VOB requirements, identify synergies and best practice solutions as applicable
- Identify and leverage domain knowledge pools and SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) to accelerate knowledge and understanding across the region
- Works with Change Leaders to ensure they are equipped with context and support requirements to support changes in our business processes and organizational set up (roles and responsibilities)
- Consolidate business requirements to be onboard on new Digital Engine
- Work to operate new functional needs on collaboration with the country leaders if is needed
- Identify which activities that can be centralized to build a plan and be executed on collaboration with the BTO Leaders

Job Requirement:
- + 2 years’ experience in Technology Distribution management
- Analytics skills to centralize the information required
- Experience in project and or program management is a requirement
- Ability to take on a consultant role, to present, influence, mediate and lead a very large community of senior position co-workers.
- Experience in business plan development preferred.
- Regional experience preferred, not required
- Bachelor’s degree required
