Purpose

• Providing software development services including design, documentation, build and implementation around our core system, GRS, within agreed scope and timelines of Ingram Micro Lifecycle and our customers.

• SQL and .NET / C# design and development as part of a project team, where the SQL development is the greater part.
• Third line support inside SLA within defined area of responsibility
• Mentoring more junior developers
• Assisting Solution Architects with design work

Our preference is for hybrid working mixing time from home with time in our Norwich offices. Fully remote considered.

You will report into a Solution Architect

The role sits within the overall UK IT Team of c30, which is a key business partner delivering solutions and services that leverage operation efficiency and sustain long term mutually profitable customer relationships. At IM Lifecycle, a developer role is fast-paced, interesting and challenging – no two days are the same.  You will be working as part of a team, with customers such as Vodafone, Sky and O2 in building and enhancing their outsourced return logistics, repair and remarketing processes.  We work in Agile and change is constant. Responsibilities:

• Assisting Solution Architects with design work
• Design, development and testing of enhancements, changes, integrations, APIs etc in line with external and internal customer needs and the enterprise architecture
• Providing third line support for live systems as required, within SLA
• Keeping relevant documentation up to date in Confluence
• Contribute towards the estimation and planning of client and internal work and communicating updates to Solution Architects and Project Managers.
• Adherence to Agile working principles including use of / updating Jira
• Mentoring more junior developers

• Proficient in English (Spoken and Written)
• SQL Server 2012 including SSIS & SSRS, CLRs
• .NET / C#
• Git, xUnit, Jira, Visio and Confluence
• Microservices
• Desirable: Docker, AWS
• Desirable: Understanding of Forward & Reverse Logistics
• Desirable: Understanding of electronic service / repair industry
• Desirable: Understanding of the eCommerce industry

• Successful track record in SQL and application development
• At least 5 years experience as a developer / working with SQL
• At least 5 years experience with .NET C#
• Desirable: Previous experience within a fast-paced production line environment or the logistics industry or eCommerce
• Desirable: Previous experience in a software services provider
