The EFS Controlling and FP&A Finance team represents a key link between the local country and the Corporate management teams. The role of the EFS Finance team is to support the business in forecasting, budgeting, the review of financial performance, commercial decision taking, profitability analysis & reporting and strategic initiatives.

  • In this position Sr. Professional, Financial Planning & Analysis will be supporting the FP&A manager and Regional Management Team to execute strategic decisions in the management of the current profitability by analyzing the vendor and customer profitability and any additional key insights required
  • Monthly activities include analyses and communication of actual performance vs forecast, (statistical) analyses and reporting on vendor and customer profitability, driving the budget process, and participation in ad hoc projects (e.g. M&A)
  • You will assist in the enhancements and further improvements of the current profitability analysis and reporting
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc analysis and reports (Vendor and Customer detailed reports, Product categories, Business Unites and Cost Centre analysis, Line of Business Variations, Dashboards, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Prepare first level analysis on Vendor/Customer Profitability evolution
  • Take-over key transactional process responsibilities (manual adjustment during month, M/E adjustment posting, KE24/Qlikview daily check/update, AR/AP IC process)
  • Key Qlikview go to person (incl issue fixing/ training/ maintenance, user list, etc)
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with country managers, finance team and IS to ensure effective two-way flow of information and communication
  • Support strategic initiatives with required financial analysis and reporting

You will be a great fit if you have:
  • A degree in Economics, Econometrics/ Statistics, specialized in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent
  • More than 2 years of experience in FP&A and/or Business Controlling
  • Experience in a statistical analysis is preferred
  • Sound financial knowledge including the ability to interpret financial KPI’s and drivers of profitability
  • Good project management skills
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent knowledge of English is a must
  • Goods Interpersonal skills, sufficient to establish excellent working relations in a multi country environment
