Credit Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

As part of the NL Credit team, the Credit Collector is responsible for the timely collection of the outstanding receivables, while establishing and keeping a good relationship with our internal and external customers.

Departemental objectives include maximizing working capital through timely collections, using calculated risk, being commercial and maintaining a good relationship with our customers

Scope:

• Part of team located in the Netherlands

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• To be the first point of contact for our internal and external customers, regarding outstanding invoices, Credit exposure and blocked orders
• Daily evaluation on releasing of blocked orders
• Contacting customers on outstanding invoices and obtaining new financial information to secure or increase current Credit limits
• Obtain good relationship with customers and understand their business and business risks. In order to inform the Risk team on current Risk taken

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Education level: MBO or HBO level, depending on experience in the field
• Good command of the Dutch and English language verbally and written
• Strong analytical skills
• The ability to work both independently and in a team and is comfortable operating in a multi-country environment
• good social and communication skills
• aptitude for financial affairs
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and requests
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office is a requirement
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Commercial sensitivity is part of the job so any experience would be a plus
