Position Summary:

Responsible for purchasing of products and services to meet company requirements and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Negotiates best deals with vendors and ensures adherence to quality and delivery standards. Interfaces with multiple internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to invoicing, shipments, etc. Buyers may specialize in a specific area (e.g. services, IT products, etc.) or functional support (sales). Support personnel manage the paperwork and purchasing systems transactions to ensure adherence to procedures. 

This role is accountable for financial forecasting, product demand, timing of product, overseeing and analyzing trends, supply chain logistics, and demand planning.
Understands and works on cost estimate of maintenance, product movement, inventory of clients.
Understands forecasting, vendor relations, contracts, and purchasing.

Interacts and partners with different departments or organizations on how the working capital.
Works with the vendor and the customer to maintain onsite relations and getting groups together to determine how to sustain working capital metrics and capabilities.

Coaches the team, leading and guiding the understanding of working capital, time to pay inventory, warehouse stay time, contract negotiation for better payment terms.

Project management experience is required. Looks for process improvement and leads projects that will have the biggest benefit on continuous improvement

English and Spanish proficiency required.

Incumbents charged with maintaining highest knowledge of relevant technologies, emerging business/ industry trends, competitive technical direction and product direction. Provide broad architectural design into company products, policies and procedures.

Possesses a highly specialized level of technical expertise or business acumen. Extensive breadth and depth of knowledge arrived through exposure to emerging technical advancements or complex business situations. Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 10 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience. Ability to make significant contributions to the company.

Salary Range:

Ingram Micro has different annual base pay ranges for each work location and salary grade within the United States. This practice allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.

Position Grade: 12

Primary Locations: FL

Salary Range: 

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD  $89,100 - $120,300 - $151,500 per year.

 The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
