What You’ll Do

Based in our Eastern Creek Distribution Centre, you will be focused on implementing the appropriate safeguards and tools for the protection of our associates and company assets. This role will see the successful candidate acting as the on-site security advisor to our distribution centres and also our offices. Other key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with key internal stakeholders to monitor compliance with policies and procedures and aligning these processes with industry best practice and also relevant legislation
  • Developing and implementing a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the business
  • Conducting training on Security and OHS procedures
  • Providing oversight to contracted security personnel and acting as the main liaison between the business and the provider
  • Conducting all incident investigations from a Security and OHS perspective
  • Reporting on both Security and OHS to both local and regional stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain a TAPA A rated facility

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) including, evacuation, emergency access, etc in a highly secure environment 
  • A comprehensive understanding of WHS and the ability to identify, manage and mitigate risk
  • High level of knowledge around security and asset protection
  • High level of knowledge around OHS legislation and practices
  • Certified ICAM Investigation Facilitator and relevant experience
  • An ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills with Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and preferably Visio
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
