Ingram Micro is seeking a motivated and talented Summer Intern – Global Business Process to join us in June for our 10-week PAID Summer Internship Program! We are looking for ambitious college and university students who are ready to expand their skills and apply them to meaningful work with a global organization.  

Location: This role will be based in our Buffalo, NY office. The intern who fills this role must be able to report to this office location for a minimum of 2 days per week, with the opportunity for hybrid work.

Program Details:

We have internships available across our various departments and locations throughout the U.S. including Irvine, CA, Buffalo, NY, Fort Worth, TX, Joliet, IL, and Carol Stream, IL.  Unless otherwise noted – all internships are on a hybrid format at the designated office listed in the job description, and are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Our program includes cohort activities such as learning & development trainings, executive speaker sessions, group projects, and other events.

Important Dates:

  • March – May: Recruiters and hiring managers will review applications, as well as reach out to candidates and make offers on a rolling basis, with a goal of filling all roles by May
  • June 5th– August 11thFirst cohort start & end date (for semester system students who start summer break earlier)
  • June 19th– August 25thSecond cohort start & end date (for quarter system students who start summer break later)

Responsibilities of your role: 

This role will support our Global Business Process team, who supports the company by leading strategic initiatives and owning key process areas across all lines of business with systems deployments, change management, and business enablement.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with cross functional teams to analyze and document existing business processes, recommend operational improvements, and organize data and supporting program documentation.
  • Supporting the global program team by documenting key actions, coordinating efforts across business and IT teams, and tracking project tasks to completion.
  • Collaborating with Change Management team to support global training and communication strategy.

Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities you need to have:

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program, or recently graduated (within the last semester or quarter) from an accredited college/university program.
  • Strong academic record with a cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Comfortable with presenting to audiences at various levels within the organization. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and following standard procedures in analyzing situations or data.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple project tasks.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $20-25/hour.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

Please be prepared to pass a drug test and successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check that includes verification of vaccination status.
