Ingram Micro is seeking a motivated and talented Summer Intern – Customer Experience to join us in June for our 10-week PAID Summer Internship Program! We are looking for ambitious college and university students who are ready to expand their skills and apply them to meaningful work with a global organization.  

Location: This role can be based at either our Irvine, California or Buffalo, New York office. The intern who fills this role must be able to report to one of these offices for a minimum of 2 days per week, with the opportunity for hybrid work. 

Program Details

We have internships available across our various departments and locations throughout the U.S. including Irvine, CA, Buffalo, NY, Fort Worth, TX, Joliet, IL, and Carol Stream, IL.  Unless otherwise noted – all internships are on a hybrid format at the designated office listed in the job description, and are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Our program includes cohort activities such as learning & development trainings, executive speaker sessions, group projects, and other events.

Important Dates

  • March – May: Recruiters and hiring managers will review applications, as well as reach out to candidates and make offers on a rolling basis, with a goal of filling all roles by May
  • June 5th – August 11th: First cohort start & end date (for semester system students who start summer break earlier)
  • June 19th – August 25th: Second cohort start & end date (for quarter system students who start summer break later)

Responsibilities of your role: 

This role will support the Customer Experience team, who is responsible for collecting partner feedback and driving user research. The goal is to provide the organization, specifically the product teams, with valuable insights into what users are sharing with us on their experience within the three platforms. The CX Team leverage multiple analytics tools to further understand the behaviours of our users to provide justification on enhancing products or improving the experience

This role will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing incoming feedback on X4C through surveys 
  • Reviewing analytics reporting (Full Story / Adobe Analytics) to identify opportunities for enhancements
  • Summarizing feedback and analytics to provide regular updates to leadership (Teams Channel updates, Yammer update, Newsletter, etc.)

Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities you need to have:

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program, or recently graduated (within the last semester or quarter) from an accredited college/university program.
  • Strong academic record with a cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business or Data Science preferred
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills
  • Able to develop a rapport with associates and candidates
  • Relevant experience with software such as MS Office Suite, Office 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $20-25/hour.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

Please be prepared to pass a drug test and successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check that includes verification of vaccination status.
