The supervisor’s primary function is to provide effective leadership and support through pro-active problem solving, effective planning and communication to ensure the productivity and progress toward company and personal goals for up to 100 associates and non exempt leads. Manages and balances multiple and changing priorities in a fast paced high volume warehouse atmosphere. Maintains a professional demeanor and upholds Ingram Micro core values of innovation, accountability, integrity, teamwork and respect, learning and social responsibility at all times.

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Supervise a work team to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Provide training, support and disciplinary actions of all team members.
  • Create and execute a daily plan for production
  • Maintains acceptable work habits, housekeeping, production and quality standards at all times.
  • Monitor work in progress and pro-actively plan to accommodate changing business needs
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Keep up to date with Ingram Micro procedures and policies and ensure team members are updated.
  • Complete paperwork and data entry in accordance with company policies & procedures.
  • Interact with other supervisors and managers to ensure proper support is given to all departments
  • Interact with department manager to support daily operations and pro-actively address issues

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
Supervises support level employees.
Sets day-to-day operational objectives for the team.
Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports and stakeholders.
Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to moderate level of control and review.
Sets day-to-day operational objectives for the team to ensure task completion. Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables.
Contributes to the development of processes and procedures and ensure that employees operate within these guidelines.
Can make exceptions to some but not all processes and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of department processes.
Point person to resolve issues elevated by support personnel.

 Education:  High School or equivalent required.  College Degree preferred

  • Previous Leadership experience required
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Knowledge of the wireless manufacturing/ distribution industry, Microsoft Office skills
  • Analytical/ Critical thinking, excellent communication, detail oriented, relationship building, coaching/ training skills
  • The ability to read and comprehend process documentation.  Willingness to cross train and work in other departments.  The ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Primary Location: Texas

The typical base pay range for this role in Texas is USD $55,800 -  $72,600 - $89,300 per year. 

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
