What You’ll  Do:

 
We have 2 x permanent full time opportunities available for Sales Engineers to join our teams in Sydney & Melbourne

 

Your role is to provide technical support and direction to Ingram Micro internal partners, and our resellers’ sales efforts by providing vendor-aligned products, technologies, and solutions. 

 

The Sales Engineers is to raise the profile of Ingram Micro technical capability via provision of technical services and support across outbound, inbound, end user and reseller activity whilst positioning Ingram Micro as the best choice in distribution and solutions lead partner.

 

 

 

Other key responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

 

 

  • Serves as the technical lead for cyber security solutions & services sold and provisioned by Ingram Micro channel partners.
  • Contribution to sales tactics, practice development and strategy
  • Provide support to resellers for vendor-aligned solution design and configuration. Assist resellers with tender responses for vendor-aligned technologies
  • Provide input to vendor-aligned sales pipeline and forecast
  • Support and promote vendor-aligned marketing effort.
  • Provide input to technical aspects of vendor-aligned marketing effort. Actively work with those vendor contacts to achieve mutual Vendor / Ingram Micro goals
  • Provide quotes with technical solutions and advice working with Business Manager and Product Manager to negotiate margins with vendor

 

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

 

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or similar
  • Relevant professional level industry certifications
  • Previous experience working on technical channel development.
  • Knowledge IT industry and channel related to technologies is important (Cyber security products)
  • Extensive cyber security &  technical product line knowledge
  • Excellent training and public speaking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and work towards a common goal
