We are looking for a new colleague to join our finance team as a

 Financial Controller with Tax specialization!

What kind of tasks would we assign to you?

  • Prepare and manage the Hungarian tax reports including calculations, tax returns, tax bookings, tax payments, reconciliations, self-revisions
  • Manage and support annual TP documentation and other supplementary reports
  • Manage and support routine CIT, VAT and other tax related audit enquiries and projects
  • Prepare the corporate income tax calculation and other related reports in line with the corporate rules and USGAAP
  • Taking part of management reporting activities during month-end closing
  • Provide professional guidance to other accountants when needed in tax matters
  • Work closely with the CFO in controlling activities assuring compliance with USGAAP and HAS regulatory requirements
  • Being up to date in local requirements and legislative changes as well as corporate internal regulations
  • Taking part in yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting activities
  • Perform business and cost analysis
  • Support continuous improvement activities and process optimization
  • Support statutory audits

Who would enjoy the most working with us?

Someone who has a flexible attitude towards the various and sometimes challenging tasks and who is a team-player as we ourselves also work with this attitude in mind. Someone who has BSc / MSc degree in Finance & Accounting/Economics with at least 3-5 years’ experience in Accounting, Controlling or Tax Advisory. It is also important for you to speak English fluently and to have an advanced excel knowledge.

Who will be your direct manager? What should you know about the team and the position?

Your direct manager will be our CFO who has a positive attitude towards her colleagues and also acts as a team-player when it comes to common challenges. She is open to share her knowledge and believes in all-life learning.

Our finance team is made up of loyal, committed professionals who like to work hard as well as feel good during the days. They motivate and really help each other as the key to their success is appreciation and respect.

This is a newly opened position as we realized that by incorporating new knowledge, we can be even more successful.

What will be the selection process?
