we are looking for an Import Coordinator who will be driving and improving vendor sales whilst meeting the vendor and company objectives and targets. You will micro manage all layers of the sales channel and improving product depth and market share for all tiers.  you will focus on maintaining current business relationships, improve inactive accounts and create new business opportunities. you will be aware of all project bids and target Ingram Micro involvement in them.

About the role:    "Import Coordinator"

In this role, you'll Oversee the day to day functions of Logistics & Warehousing in compliance with the procedures and guidelines set by the company and Ensure that all tasks are executed within the given deadlines and maintain delivery schedules as per service levels committed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and identify the suitable FF to move international shipments.
  • Coordinate with vendor/purchase/FF to move, pick, clear & receive the shipments.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders to nominate best price freight forwarder for incoming shipments through IM procedures.
  • Follow up with Freight forwarders for Clearance and delivery of Inbound shipment at IM/IM nominated Warehouse.
  • Coordinate with JAFZA transfers and arrange trucks to pick and bring the goods to WH.
  • Coordinate & identify potential FF & truck operators in the local market.
  • Communicate all delays or variances to Purchase and Product teams to ensure all concerned persons are updated on all in transit/pending shipments.
  • Daily Reporting.

  Job Qualifications and Educational Requirement

  • Qualification: Relevant degree in operations or logistics or supply chain
  • Experience: 3 to 4 yrs. in supply chain/logistics
  • Knowledge: Good in International import procedures.
  • Having excellent knowledge in GCC export and gulf region customs.
  • Logistic Industry Management Techniques.
  • Experience in an international IT distribution environment or Logistics company.
  • Dubai Trade and Jazfa customs regulations.
  • Ability to handle less cost.
