What you’ll do

The Solution Architect will support our reseller partners and act as an extension of their organization to provide pre-sales support and guidance to these partners. This support will include consultation around solution configurations, design, and product selection. The Solution Architect will assist our resellers with tender responses and complex deal quotations within the assigned vendor portfolio. The Solutions Architect will work closely with their reseller partners to build and promote the business’ capability and service offering within these partners.

 

Your role will include but not limited to:

 

  • Provide accurate & detailed pipeline and forecasting reports.
  • Provide technical pre-sales support to the sales team and consult with teams around any proposals, quotations, and Bill of Materials
  • Deliver training & presentations to partners and internal teams.
  • Creating and nurturing strategic relationships with both customers and vendors
  • Identifying areas of development within Partner product portfolios
  • Resolving any issues in conjunction with internal sales and support teams

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pre-sales support, design and configuration of server, storage and security platforms including middleware
  • Strong knowledge of hybrid/multi-cloud environments, data centre technologies and security market trends
  • Strong knowledge of the local market
  • Sales and qualification capability
  • Business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong presales capabilities to present to partners
  • University/college degree or equivalent industry experience Industry Security qualified.
  • Other beneficial qualifications are VCP, MCSE or other relevant qualifications such as those from Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware etc.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills.
