Section 2: Position Summary
To provide technical support and direction to Ingram Micro internal partners, and our resellers’ sales efforts by providing vendor-aligned products, technologies and solutions. The Jnr Solutions Architect is to raise the profile of Ingram Micro technical capability via provision of technical services and support across outbound, inbound, end user and reseller activity whilst positioning Ingram Micro as the best choice in distribution and solutions lead partner.
Section 3: Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results
Major Responsibility: Provision of technical support to Ingram Micro vendor-aligned sales activity
Supporting Actions:
Visit and build relationships within each direct partner account and leverage the Product Manager, Market Development Managers and Account Managers to maximize revenue opportunities for Ingram Micro. Consult Ingram Micro sales for vendor-aligned proposals and bids. Provide technical leadership to vendor-aligned activity. Provide support to resellers for vendor-aligned solution design and configuration. Assist resellers with tender responses for vendor-aligned technologies
End Results:
Provide excellent technical support for Ingram Micro Vendors
Percentage: 40%
Major Responsibility: Provide input to vendor-aligned sales pipeline and forecast
Supporting Actions:
Attend Ingram Micro sales meetings and vendor events as required. Provide technical leadership to vendor-aligned activity. Act as a reseller resource for face to face end user sales and technical calls. Assist resellers with tender responses for vendor-aligned technologies. Establish nationwide sales and technical relationships with aligned vendor
End Results:
Help to ensure sales pipeline is continually maintained, extended and capitalized upon to generate more revenue
Percentage: 20%
Major Responsibility:
Raise profile and promote vendor-aligned capability and service nationwide
Supporting Actions:
Support and promote vendor-aligned marketing effort. Provide input to technical aspects of vendor-aligned marketing effort. Actively work with those vendor contacts to achieve mutual Vendor / Ingram Micro goals
End Results:
Successfully raise the profile of vendor-aligned capability and service nationwide
