Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Credit Reconciliation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the reconciliation of credit transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely resolution. You will work closely with internal departments, external vendors, and financial institutions to streamline processes and maintain the integrity of our credit accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of credit reconciliation practices.Responsibilities:- Periodic review and perform write up of accounts
- Handling of inbound/outbound calls
- Handling of complex reconciliation tasks
- Coordinate/collaborate with business partners for dispute resolution
- Build and develop excellent working relationships with internal customers
- Review and release of orders on hold based on the authority level
- Payment application for complex processes (Wires, Auto cash, Credit Card)
- Suspense account reconciliation
- Coverage or back up when necessary due to staffing shortage
- Reconciliation of coded items and disputes raised by customers
- Exercise judgment based on define process to determine appropriate action
- Provide proactive information to Management when issues arise, by identifying the root cause and provide recommendations on an action plan to follow.
- Handle internal and customers escalations by cultivating customer experience
Reporting Management and Process Improvement
- Management of aging and cash report
- Analyze and able to provide input for snapshot reports
- Understands the account’s internal payment processes, in order to be able to provide analysis on drivers for payments made or missed. Will use this information to identify improvement opportunities in both internal processes or account’s behavior
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement, suggest and implement innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of credit reconciliation operations.
Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in credit reconciliation or accounts receivables
- Strong Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing complex financial data, identifying discrepancies, and conducting root cause analysis.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of credit reconciliation principles, financial processes, and accounting principles.
- Open to work on a night shift
- Open to a hybrid work set-up
